Blog #7
I think that the PSA unit was extremely beneficial to myself & others. It opened our eyes to the world of film-making & gave us opportunities to use equipment that most high school students would never get to normally even touch. I myself find myself constantly observing the different shots that are used in movies, something I never would've thought twice about before. Being able to produce a PSA has showed me the power that a certain angle can have on an audience, such as a long shot of a setting or a close-up of an actor showing heir emotion. The most challenging aspect of it was just to find time to actually film outside of our V.O.I.C.E.S. class, because we all have very busy schedules. The only improvement I can think of is to maybe lengthen the amount of time they can, however, short PSA's can also be very persuasive & powerful.
